Lawo names Jamie Dunn as CEO

Lawo has announced that Jamie Dunn, who joined the company in 2011 and has served as “vorstand” and deputy CEO since 2024, has been appointed as CEO of Lawo AG.

In this position, Dunn will play a key role in shaping the continued development of the Lawo Group. According to the manufacturer, Dunn’s long tenure with the company, deep market understanding and global experience form a strong foundation for the future.

“Lawo’s strength has always been rooted in its people, its partnerships, its values and its commitment to innovation,” remarked Dunn. “I am honoured to lead the next chapter of success of this remarkable company. These are exciting times – and there are huge opportunities ahead for our company.”

As part of the transition, Philipp Lawo steps down from the “vorstand” of Lawo AG and joins the company’s supervisory board. Lawo said that the move reflects its commitment to strengthening corporate compliance by more clearly separating management and control functions across its governing bodies.

In addition to Dunn, the management board consists of CFO and “vorstand” Claus Gärtner, CMO Andreas Hilmer, CSCO Christian Lukic, CTO Phil Myers COO and Ulrich Schnabl.

“These changes reaffirm our confidence in Lawo’s proven management structure and the strong collaboration within the management team,” said Michael Sonnabend, chairman of the supervisory board. “This transition ensures the company’s continued stability as we look to the future.”

With his transition to the supervisory board, Philipp Lawo will continue supporting the brand’s development and ensuring that the values of the Lawo family remain at the heart of the company’s culture. As the sole “vorstand” of Lawo Holding AG, he will be responsible for the strategic direction of the entire group, reinforcing the focus on long-term stability and sustainable growth.

“Our goal is to ensure that Lawo continues to build on its strong foundations while pursuing a sustainable and robust growth model,” concluded Sonnabend. “The supervisory board has full trust in Jamie Dunn and the entire management team. With their collective expertise and dedication, Lawo is ideally positioned for the next chapter of its journey.”
