Syed Hussain Kamal joins BeWunder

With more than two decades of experience in the AV industry, Syed Hussain Kamal has joined BeWunder as technical manager for the Middle East. In this role, he will support the delivery of spatial and immersive projects, helping translate creative concepts into integrated built environments.

Kamal will oversee the technical design, specification and implementation of AV, lighting, control and automation systems across permanent and semi-permanent spaces. His responsibilities cover the full project lifecycle – from concept development and system architecture through detailed design documentation, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning. He will also work to ensure effective integration between AV, interactive technologies, digital content systems and architectural elements, while maintaining compliance, safety and performance standards.

Working alongside designers, project managers, consultants and contractors, Kamal will contribute to the delivery of scalable, reliable solutions in line with BeWunder’s turnkey project approach.

Over the course of his career, Kamal has led AV projects from concept to commissioning, with experience in museums and cultural institutions among other sectors. He has focused on aligning design intent with practical engineering requirements to deliver systems suited to complex and often mission-critical environments. Furthermore, he holds CTS and CTS-I certifications from AVIXA, along with several other professional credentials.
