Yamaha anchors conference AV upgrade
Amplification is delivered by Yamaha XMV and PX Series amplifiers, with additional DHR monitors available for onstage reference. System control is managed through a TF series digital mixing console, designed for ease of use during live events. MRX DSP processors are used for system tuning, routing and overall optimisation.
According to the project team, the system was designed to balance audio clarity with operational simplicity, ensuring that non-technical users can manage the setup without difficulty.
Since installation, Lulu IT Infrabuild has reported that the conference hall is now supporting a wider range of corporate functions with improved consistency and user experience. The company states that the upgraded AV infrastructure is intended to provide reliable operation while allowing for future expansion as requirements evolve.
Lulu IT Infrabuild has completed the integration of a Yamaha Professional Audio system in a conference hall at the Lulu IT Twin Towers in Kochi, Kerala, one of its commercial developments in India.
The company, which develops IT parks and corporate infrastructure for technology-focused businesses, required an AV system capable of supporting a multifunctional environment. Key criteria included consistent sound coverage across seating areas, clear speech intelligibility and straightforward day-to-day operation.
To deliver the project, Lulu IT Infrabuild worked with Yamaha, alongside Godrej AV Solutions, which handled system configuration, and EYTE Technologies, responsible for AV system design. The brief centred on creating a system that could support presentations, meetings and multimedia use while remaining adaptable and reliable over time.
The installed solution combines multiple Yamaha components across FOH, distributed audio, control and signal processing. DHR point-source loudspeakers provide primary coverage for spoken content, while VXC ceiling speakers are deployed to maintain even sound distribution throughout the room. Low frequency support is handled by VXC8S ceiling-mounted subwoofers, aimed at improving performance for multimedia playback.
