Media Links expands Korean partner network with GOUP
Media Links has expanded its partner network in South Korea through a new distribution and integration agreement with GOUP. The partnership is intended to strengthen Media Links’ regional presence while supporting further deployment of its IP media transport technologies across broadcasters and telecom operators in the market. As part of the agreement, GOUP will support Media Links across sales and system integration, helping deploy the company’s Xscend IP Media Transport platform and wider IP media ecosystem within Korean media workflows.
“The Korean market remains an important region for Media Links, and we see opportunities for growth as IP adoption continues,” commented Toshiyuki Naka, senior vice president of Asia sales at Media Links. “Xscend is already proven in large-scale deployments and working with GOUP allows us to build on our presence and better support customers across the market.”
The companies also jointly exhibited at KOBA 2026 in Seoul, where Media Links technology was showcased on the GOUP stand. Demonstrated solutions included the Xscend platform, MDP series IP media gateways and the ProMD EMS network management system, supporting transport of video, audio and data across IP networks for applications including contribution and remote production.
“Choosing the right technology partners is a critical part of how we build and deliver solutions,” added Sukhwan Jang, vice president of sales at GOUP. “With Media Links’ strong presence in the region and its next-generation IP transport technologies, we believe this is the right time to introduce this collaboration alongside our broader portfolio of products and services.”
