InfoComm 2026 to spotlight live production and audience engagement technologies

InfoComm 2026 will place a major focus on live production, broadcast workflows and audience engagement technologies as part of this year’s exhibition programme at the Las Vegas Convention Center from 13–19 June. According to the organiser, AVIXA, the show will examine the increasing convergence between AV, broadcast, IT and AI-driven systems, particularly within live entertainment, sports venues and immersive event environments.

One of the centrepieces of the exhibition will be The Pitch, a new immersive show floor experience powered by Diversified. Designed around the worlds of sports production, live entertainment and broadcast operations, the area will showcase integrated AV ecosystems spanning control rooms, strategy spaces, premium hospitality areas and interactive fan engagement environments.

“Live events today are no longer just about what happens on stage or on the field,” commented Jenn Heinold, senior vice president, expositions, Americas at AVIXA, “they’re about creating shared, immersive experiences that extend far beyond the physical venue.”

The exhibition will also feature the return of the AVIXA TV Studio, demonstrating a fully operational broadcast environment incorporating cameras, control systems, audio, lighting and production workflows for enterprise and entertainment applications.

Across the show floor, InfoComm 2026 will highlight developments in AV-over-IP infrastructure, NDI and SMPTE 2110 workflows, real-time audience interaction systems, immersive audio, intelligent lighting and automated staging technologies. Educational sessions scheduled will explore topics including enterprise media production, live streaming workflows, connected audience experiences and immersive placemaking, while guided tours will examine integrated broadcast and AV technologies deployed across modern production environments.
