AMX transforms Dwight School Hanoi with new AV infrastructure
Harman Professional Solutions, in partnership with AV Plus Corporation, has delivered a comprehensive AV system for Dwight School Hanoi, enhancing the learning environment across classrooms, meeting spaces and sports facilities.
Located in Hanoi’s Manor Central Park and spanning 35,000m², Dwight School Hanoi represents the Vietnam expansion of the renowned US-based Dwight educational network. The school sought an AV system to support modern teaching methods, simplify system control and improve communication throughout the campus.
Each classroom and functional space is now equipped with the AMX MCP-108 ControlPad – a wall-mounted interface with intuitive buttons and a rotary knob for easy device control, while maintaining security standards. The AMX Precis PR-0402 HDMI matrix switcher enables switching of 4K video signals during presentations.
The school’s meeting room features the AMX Modero G5 touch panel, paired with an AMX NX-1200 controller for automation and secure operation. With HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support, the space delivers crisp video quality for meetings and presentations.
To address the acoustic challenges of open areas such as the swimming pool and sports courts, Harman installed array loudspeakers managed by a Soundcraft Si Expression 3 digital mixer. These are supported by AMX ControlPads and HDMI switchers.
A centralised control room has been set up with an AMX MT-1002 touchpanel and NX-3200 controller, allowing for automation and campus-wide system management.
“The sports court and swimming pool areas required clear and stable audio in acoustically challenging environments and the DSP technology in the Soundcraft Si Expression 3 console allowed us to deliver excellent sound quality, eliminating echoes and background noise effectively,” said Mr Nam, project manager from AV Plus Corporation.
