twoloox has signed a purchase agreement with Christie Digital Systems to acquire the Pandoras Box and Widget Designer product lines. The proposed transaction was previously announced involving an acquisition corporation to be created and owned by German entrepreneurs. The anticipated closing date of the sale is 31 October 2025.
The owners of twoloox are industry professionals Daniel Kaminski, Barbara Battaglia, Daniel Schäfer and Andre Maier. These experts boast extensive experience in providing custom AV solutions and immersive media experiences for live events, museum installations and interactive brand spaces. twoloox said that the team has been connected to Pandoras Box products, technology and customers for years and citied the acquisition of these two product lines as a strategic and logical milestone.
twoloox provides real-time media servers and control platforms for visual productions that have been designed to offer flexibility, quality and intuitive control. Based on the Pandoras Box and Widget Designer technologies, the media server offers uncompressed 8K playback with up to 240 fps, 10-bit colour depth, HDR support and up to eight DisplayPort outputs, expandable with video and audio cards.
The Widget Designer is a control platform for visual programming of interactive applications. It supports HTML5 Webbrowsers, includes more than 1,500 integrated commands, reads sensors and other data sources, connects to AV Devices and combines it into various applications.
