Uniq Digital unveils expanded experience centre in Dubai
Uniq Digital has opened a new experience centre in Dubai designed to demonstrate how interactive LED displays, immersive environments and sensor-driven technologies can be applied across sectors including retail, construction and education. Named the Uniq Digital Garage, the facility expands on the company’s previous showroom in the city, more than doubling the available demonstration space and introducing a wider range of real-world use cases for customers and consultants.
Uniq has also partnered with several technology manufacturers and software providers within the space, combining LED hardware with control, audio and content platforms from brands including Igloo Vision, MultiTaction, Pantheon Lab, Activu, Notch, Bose, RCF, Sennheiser and Q-SYS. “When like-minded technology partners converge, the sky is the limit and the UNIQ Digital Garage stands as a true testament to that vision, reflecting innovation, collaboration and immersive experiences at their finest,” stated Uniq Digital general manager Jemy Mohan.
Located within the company’s existing premises, the new facility combines multiple demonstration areas intended to show how LED technology can move beyond conventional display applications. According to Uniq Digital head of sales Lalit Bal, the aim was to create a space where visitors can experience complete solutions in action rather than simply viewing standalone screens and hardware.
Among the new showcases is an immersive visualisation space powered by Igloo Vision’s Igloo Core Engine 2.0. The environment is designed to support sector-specific demonstrations, including architectural walkthroughs, museum visualisations and automotive presentations. “We wanted to set up live case examples,” explained Bal. “If a customer walks in, they want to see exactly how content can be triggered or how an immersive space can actually be used.”
Also housed within the new space is a 5m interactive LED touch display integrated with a MultiTaction table, creating what Bal describes as an “infinity canvas”. The setup allows users to manipulate digital content across both surfaces, while additional object-recognition and gesture-based sensors can trigger changes to displayed media. This concept is aimed primarily at luxury retail and experiential product launches, where brands increasingly want customers to interact directly with content and physical products.
There is also a new custom LED wall built using a combination of straight and flexible LED modules and custom designed cabinets, designed to highlight the structural possibilities available with non-standard cabinet configurations. The display is integrated with sensors, allowing on-screen content to respond dynamically to user movement.
Rather than relying solely on generic demonstrations, the team plans to further tailor the experience to specific vertical markets by preparing relevant content and workflows ahead of customer visits. This includes the ability for visitors to provide their own content in advance, allowing the team to configure demonstrations that reflect real operational scenarios.
The space officially opened on 7th May, welcoming around 60 guests including technology partners and systems integrators. Visitors had the opportunity to engage directly with the Uniq Digital team and experience the solutions showcased within the centre.
“A brief overview of the technologies and applications was presented to the systems integrators, who were highly impressed by both the vision behind the space and the functionality of the solutions implemented throughout the experience centre,” concluded Mohan.
