Crest Audio powers Day Zero Festival debut in Bali
Crest Audio sound systems were deployed to power Stage 3 at the inaugural Bali edition of Day Zero Festival, a new electronic music event created by Damian Lazarus originally launched in Tulum, Mexico. Held across multiple stages in Bali, the festival attracted approximately 9,000 attendees and featured artists including Acid Pauli, AME DJ and Anthony Middleton.
The audio deployment at Stage 3 incorporated Crest Audio Versarray 112 Pro, Versarray 215 Pro and Versarray 218 Pro systems, with CPL+ loudspeakers used for delay coverage. These were powered by Crest Audio Pro-LITE amplifiers and PCX processors, with FOH responsibilities handled by the manufacturer’s local partner Vilon Group Bali (VGB).The audio deployment at Day Zero Festival was designed to maintain high SPL performance, sonic consistency and operational reliability across extended continuous operation while supporting a diverse roster of DJs and performers.
“As one of Bali’s premier systems integrators, we are thrilled with our investment in the Crest Audio systems,” commented Dean Morris from VGB. “Whether it is for permanent installs or rentals for festivals such as Day Zero, the reliability and versatility of the Crest product in handling different genres of music is second to none.”
“We are very proud and honoured for the Crest Audio Versarray and CPL+ systems to be chosen for a festival as sonically demanding as Day Zero,” added Akshay Vaida, director of Peavey APAC. “EDM is a genre that can be extremely demanding for sonic hardware and to power through 24 hours of continuous performance – and 48 hours total over three days – with zero issues is testament to the build quality of our Crest Audio and Peavey hardware.”
