Sound by design at NYX Hotel Limassol

Located in central Limassol near the marina and Limassol Castle, the 189-room NYX Hotel Limassol has been installed with a comprehensive RCF sound system throughout, delivering distributed audio coverage across the lifestyle hotel’s public areas, rooftop hospitality spaces and leisure facilities.

According systems integrator Megasound, audio is a key part of the architectural experience across the public areas, and has been carefully integrated without interrupting the visual language of the interiors. The system combines ceiling, wall-mounted and weatherproof loudspeakers alongside multiple subwoofer models to provide background music and distributed audio coverage across restaurants, bars, wellness spaces and outdoor hospitality areas.

The installation includes 46 PL 8X and 22 PL 6X coaxial ceiling loudspeakers, supplemented by 18 WMR 60T and three WMR 50T wall-mounted systems for directional reinforcement within selected public areas. Outdoor and semi-outdoor coverage is provided through eight P 3108 weatherproof two-way loudspeakers designed for terraces and exterior hospitality environments. Low-frequency reinforcement is handled by five S 12 subwoofers, one S 10 and an Ayra Ten active sub.

The coaxial ceiling loudspeakers were selected to provide even audio distribution while preserving the clean visual appearance of the hotel interiors, with wall-mounted systems used where room geometry required more directional coverage control.
