InfoComm 2026 to spotlight retail technology and AI-driven customer engagement
InfoComm will place a strong focus on retail technology at this year’s upcoming exhibition, showcasing how AV, AI and digital signage are being used to create more immersive and data-driven customer experiences. Taking place at the Las Vegas Convention Center from 13-19 June, with exhibits open from 17-19 June, the event will feature technologies spanning digital signage, content management, analytics, audio and customer engagement platforms.
A key attraction will be the Retail Experience exhibit, a connected store environment designed to demonstrate how AV systems, data and digital signage can be integrated throughout the customer journey. The installation will feature technologies from Bluesound Professional, BrightSign, Poppulo and Samsung.
“Retail environments are becoming more immersive, data-driven, and experience-focused,” commented Jenn Heinold, senior vice president, expositions, Americas, AVIXA. “InfoComm 2026 brings together the technologies and expertise that enable organisations to create meaningful, measurable connections with their audiences in physical spaces.”
Digital signage and AI-powered content delivery will feature prominently within the show’s education programme. Sessions will explore topics including dynamic content strategies, agentic AI workflows and the use of intelligent systems to create more responsive customer messaging.
The show will also highlight the growing role of immersive AV technologies in retail environments, with demonstrations of large-format displays, integrated audio systems and control platforms designed to support experiential retail concepts.
Additional retail-focused content will include a Future Retail show floor tour and a Vision Stage session titled The Programmable Store: How AV Infrastructure is Powering Multi Modal Retail Experience Platforms, featuring Ryan Miller, director of product for in-store global media at Walmart.
According to AVIXA, the exhibition will also examine how AI-powered analytics, intelligent cameras and AV-over-IP systems can help organisations better understand customer behaviour while connecting physical and digital engagement strategies.
