LANG Middle East showcases projection technologies at Dubai open house
LANG Middle East recently welcomed customers, manufacturers and industry professionals to its Dubai Investment Park facility for an open house event designed to provide hands-on access to the latest projection technologies. The event brought together representatives from multiple manufacturers, giving visitors the opportunity to compare competing technologies side by side and discuss their applications directly with manufacturer specialists.
“Our objective with the Open House was to give customers a genuine opportunity to compare technologies side by side and make informed decisions based on their specific project requirements,” said LANG Middle East managing director Oliver Luff.
As part of the demonstrations, LANG Middle East showcased Panasonic’s new RQ45 projector alongside Epson’s EB-PQ2030B, allowing visitors to evaluate the two platforms under identical conditions. The company also demonstrated a Panasonic RQ35 alongside a double-stacked pair of Epson PQ2220B projectors, illustrating how different technologies and deployment approaches can be used to achieve similar brightness levels and visual results.
“As the region’s only independent, brand agnostic rental and distribution partner, we are uniquely positioned to present competing technologies in the same environment,” added Luff. “Rather than telling customers which solution is best, we believe in creating opportunities for them to see the differences for themselves.”
The event reflected a broader strategy at LANG Middle East to position its Dubai facility as both a demonstration space and a centre for professional development through its recently launched LANG Academy, which will be led by senior market development specialist David Vandevelde.
The academy’s first training programme has now been confirmed, with an Epson projection course scheduled to take place on 16 and 17 June. The sessions will form part of a wider programme covering technologies and workflows across the video sector, with future courses expected to address a range of skill levels from fundamental system knowledge through to advanced projection, media server and networking topics.
Luff believes events such as the open house complement the academy’s wider mission. “Events like this reflect LANG Middle East’s commitment to remaining vendor neutral while giving our customers access to the latest technologies, expert advice and real-world demonstrations that help them make the right choice for their application,” he concluded.
