IDEAL Systems named AV integrator for Asian Operatic Museum
IDEAL Systems has been appointed as the official audiovisual systems integrator for the new Asian Operatic Museum (AOM), a cultural attraction currently under development in Singapore’s Kampong Gelam district. Developed by Opera Academy Singapore, the museum will combine physical exhibits with augmented reality, virtual reality, artificial intelligence and immersive storytelling technologies to present Asian operatic traditions and historical narratives to contemporary audiences.
According to IDEAL Systems, the 270m2 venue will feature five immersive thematic zones exploring subjects including the first five kings of Singapore and stories such as Mulan through a combination of digital and physical experiences.
As part of its role on the project, IDEAL Systems will deploy large-format LED displays, spatial audio systems, holographic technologies and AI-driven narration platforms designed to support the museum’s interactive visitor experience. The technology infrastructure will be used to bring historical archives and cultural stories to life through a combination of visual, audio and immersive media elements.
Located within the historic Kampong Gelam precinct, the Asian Operatic Museum is intended to provide a new platform for the presentation and preservation of Asian cultural heritage through technology-enabled experiences.
