Reliable transmission

KLOTZ AIS has released the CP7ERER1P, described as a flexible yet robust Cat7 patch cable, designed to ensure reliable signal transmission in demanding outdoor and live environments. Equipped with the Neutrik etherCON TOP IP65 Cat6a RJ45 connector (NE8MXR-B-TOP), the CP7ERER1P can be flexibly configured for both standard RJ45 and etherCON connections by simply sliding back the etherCON housing. This makes it suitable for use as either an etherCON or standard RJ45 cable, ensuring reliable signal transmission even in different patch panel and network environments under harsh live conditions.

Thanks to its abrasion-resistant, chemically resistant and low-temperature flexible PUR outer jacket (down to –40°C), the cable is suited for professional touring and event applications. It supports analogue and digital signal transmission up to 600MHz and complies with Category 7 according to ISO/IEC 61156-6. It is suitable for bandwidths up to 10Gbit/s and applications of Classes D, E, EA and F – including 10Base-T, 100Base-T, 1000Base-T, 10GBase-T, Token Ring, FDDI, ISDN and ATM, as well as audio and lighting networks such as Ethersound and DMX control systems. It is available in a wide range of practical lengths and can therefore be used both as a compact patch cable and as a standard connection cable.

Meanwhile, the HD01PC25 hybrid cable has been specially developed for mobile use. It features a robust, flexible soft PVC outer jacket, making it suitable for connecting active speakers, dimmers, colour changers, and scanners – both in demanding live settings and fixed installations. This hybrid cable enables the transmission of audio or lighting control signals and the required power supply through a single cable.

With an impedance of 110Ω, the double-shielded signal line is suitable for transmitting analogue audio signals as well as digital AES/EBU and DMX signals. Thanks to its effective shielding made of aluminium foil and dense copper braid, along with a conductor cross-section of 2x0.22mm², the cable can provide interference-free transmission over long distances, even in environments with electromagnetic interference. A drain wire for ground connection also makes it easier to assemble with XLR or TRS connectors.
