Audix welcomes Eric Reese as VP

Audix has appointed Eric Reese as vice president, with responsibility for sales, marketing, product development and operations across the microphone manufacturer’s business.

Reese joins Audix with more than 26 years of experience in the AV and entertainment industry. In his new role within the Videndum Creative Solutions family of brands, he will oversee all functions at the company.

His career began as a reliability engineer at Peavey Electronics and has since included roles spanning manufacturing, AVL systems design, business development and channel management. Prior to joining Audix, Reese held positions at Sennheiser, where he spent 11 years, and Shure, where he worked for five years. His experience also includes roles at Ford Audio-Video, AVI-SPL and Blizzard Lighting.

Alongside his corporate career, Reese owns and operates the live sound production company Loud and Clear Productions, and performs as the frontman of a John Mellencamp tribute band.

“Audix has been an iconic, product-focused brand for over 40 years,” noted Reese. “It's passionate following is due to its dedication to unique products, for engineers and musicians, designed and built by engineers and musicians right here in the USA. Now that I’ve dug deeper into their products and technologies, I believe that Audix is the best kept secret in microphones.

“My goal is to increase the awareness of Audix products and technologies with engineers, artists, and system designers, and to challenge more people to take the ‘Audix Challenge’ and listen to what they’ve been missing for over 40 years. I look forward to utilising my varied skillset and industry knowledge to collaborate with the team at Audix to continue the brand’s legacy and usher in a new era of quality audio.”
