Sennheiser tightens Q-SYS integration with TeamConnect Ceiling M Plus
Configuring ceiling microphones directly inside Q-SYS Designer Software is now possible with the introduction of Sennheiser’s new TeamConnect Ceiling M Plus, a microphone designed to reduce deployment complexity in larger collaboration environments. The TCC M Plus introduces PartnerLink, a new integration technology that allows supported AV platforms to configure and manage the microphone natively within their own workflows. Developed in collaboration with Q-SYS, the first implementation enables system designers to handle audio configuration, control and automation from within the Q-SYS environment rather than relying on separate setup processes.
While the Q-SYS integration is the launch focus, Sennheiser says that PartnerLink will expand to additional platforms over time. The microphone also continues the company’s open ecosystem approach, supporting Dante and a range of existing third-party integrations.
Designed for meeting rooms, classrooms and divisible spaces, the TCC M Plus combines dynamic beamforming with enhanced exclusion zones intended to improve speech intelligibility and camera tracking performance in more challenging environments. The system is designed to adapt to changing room layouts and participant positions while simplifying zone configuration for integrators.
Furthermore, the microphone integrates with Sennheiser’s cloud-based DeviceHub platform, providing centralised monitoring, configuration and diagnostics across multiple rooms, buildings and locations. The combination of simplified commissioning, flexible integration and remote management is intended to support organisations deploying collaboration technology at scale.
