India:

J-Live has become the first company in Gujarat to invest in a DiGiCo Quantum852, making it reportedly only the fourth sound rental provider in India to deploy the flagship live mixing console. Supplied by Hi-Tech Audio & Image, the addition strengthens J-Live's capability to support large-scale concerts, sporting events, corporate productions, government functions and destination events across Western India.

The investment reflects the continued growth of India's live events sector beyond the country's traditional metropolitan markets, with cities such as Ahmedabad increasingly hosting major productions that demand international-standard technical infrastructure.

“The scale of expectations has changed,” said Malvik Bhavsar, director of J-Live. “Artists, engineers, promoters, corporate clients, government agencies and even wedding planners are demanding production standards that are increasingly aligned with global benchmarks. Gujarat is witnessing remarkable growth across concerts, sporting events, destination celebrations, business summits and public-sector initiatives.”

Bhavsar added that the Quantum 852 would allow the company to support larger productions and more complex workflows while meeting increasingly demanding technical requirements.

Recognised as the flagship model in DiGiCo's Quantum range, the Quantum852 is designed for high-profile touring, festival, broadcast and corporate applications, offering the scale and flexibility required for complex live productions.

According to Rajan Gupta, founder and CEO of Hi-Tech Audio & Image, the significance of the deployment extends beyond the console itself: “Regional markets across India are now investing with the same confidence, vision and ambition historically associated with the world's most mature live entertainment ecosystems. Companies like J-Live are helping redefine what is possible outside traditional metro markets.”

Nirdosh Aggarwal, managing partner of Hi-Tech Audio & Image, added: “Today's production environment demands speed, flexibility, resilience and absolute confidence under pressure. The Quantum852 was engineered precisely for those conditions. J-Live's investment demonstrates a clear understanding of where the industry is heading and positions the company to support the next generation of large-scale touring, sports, entertainment, corporate, government and destination-event opportunities emerging across Western India.”
