Netgear and Midwich Asia join forces in Indonesia and Vietnam
Netgear and Midwich Asia have entered into a distribution agreement that expands the manufacturer’s networking portfolio across Indonesia and Vietnam to support the region’s evolving digital infrastructure needs.
Midwich Asia said that the alliance reinforces its commitment to enabling partners with best-in-class technologies, as demand grows for scalable, cloud-managed and AVoIP–ready network solutions across Southeast Asia.
According to reports, AVoIP is projected to power 65% of AV deployments by 2030, up from 38% in 2025. Midwich Asia highlighted that, with this increase, organisations are increasingly prioritising robust, intelligent network infrastructure to support modern collaboration and connected workplace environments.
The distributor believes that the addition of Netgear’s switching and cloud networking solutions into its ecosystem strengthens the company’s ability to support partners in designing and delivering high-performance, future-ready deployments across corporate, education, hospitality, retail and public sector markets.
“Networking is no longer a supporting layer; it is now central to how modern AV and connected workplace ecosystems perform,” said Alex Kemanes, managing director MESEA, Midwich. “With Netgear, we are expanding how we support partners across the region, delivering infrastructure built for scale, control and modern AV environments.”
Through the agreement, Midwich Asia will focus on driving partner success through comprehensive enablement initiatives, including AVoIP education, network design best practices, switch configuration support and cloud management training.
“Netgear gives our partners confidence to build stronger connected workplace infrastructures from the ground up,” added Will Fenby, director – business operations SEA, Midwich Asia. “Our focus will be on enabling the channel with the design knowledge, switching best practices and cloud workflows needed to deploy at scale.”
Going beyond traditional product supply, the partnership aims to introduce a more consultative distribution approach, including technical workshops, live demonstrations and targeted market activation programmes to help partners transition towards fully optimised network ecosystems.
“Southeast Asia is one of the fastest-growing regions for connected technologies, with increasing demand for simple, scalable and high-performance networking solutions,” remarked Jason Tay, senior AV territory account manager, Netgear. “By partnering with Midwich Asia, we are accelerating our regional expansion and enabling partners to deliver powerful, next-generation connected experiences.”
