ACT Entertainment and Netgear have entered into a strategic partnership aimed at delivering verified interoperability between Netgear AV switches and a range of technologies within ACT Entertainment's portfolio, including solutions from tvONE, Green Hippo and its lighting control brands.

The collaboration is designed to support live production professionals deploying networked workflows across lighting, video processing and media playback applications. By validating compatibility between the technologies, the companies aim to simplify system deployment and reduce complexity in environments where network reliability and low-latency performance are essential.

The agreement provides a tested infrastructure framework for AV-over-IP deployments across live events, broadcast, touring and installed entertainment applications. As production workflows increasingly migrate to network-based architectures, interoperability between devices and network infrastructure has become a key consideration for system designers and operators.

Under the partnership, users of ACT Entertainment technologies will also gain access to Netgear AV's network support services, alongside certification and training programmes delivered through ACT's training facilities.

According to the companies, the initiative focuses on providing a validated ecosystem that combines networking, control, processing and playback technologies within a single workflow. The approach is intended to help users deploy scalable systems while reducing integration challenges commonly associated with networked production environments.
