South Africa:

AV Core Distribution South Africa has announced a new strategic partnership with UK-based software developer Future Software, expanding its portfolio with a range of software solutions designed for command and control, collaboration, digital signage and broadcast environments.

The partnership will enable AV Core to offer South African integrators and end users a more comprehensive technology ecosystem, combining professional AV hardware with purpose-built software platforms.

With more than 20 years of experience, Future Software develops bespoke software solutions across IoT, mobile, desktop, cloud and server platforms. The company’s portfolio includes products for digital signage, command and control environments, broadcast and communications workflows, collaborative workspaces and security-focused applications.

According to AV Core, the partnership addresses growing demand for integrated solutions that bridge the gap between increasingly complex hardware infrastructures and the software platforms used to manage them.

“This partnership marks the beginning of something significant for our region,” said Chantal Groeneveld, managing director of AV Core Distribution South Africa. “Future Software addresses a critical challenge that modern enterprises and mission-critical operations face daily: the need to bridge the gap between complex hardware ecosystems and intelligent, real-time software layers. By combining advanced multisource processing tools like PiPView with dedicated collaborative solutions like Collin ID, Collin Solo and Collin Table, we are now able to offer a complete ecosystem.”

Groeneveld added that the combined portfolio enables organisations to move seamlessly from individual workspace management to collaborative environments and large-scale videowall applications through a unified interface.

“We are bringing these advanced solutions to market in close collaboration with our systems integration partners, who are best positioned to deliver and support these complex, enterprise-grade deployments,” he continued.

AV Core said the addition of Future Software’s solutions complements its existing portfolio of professional AV technologies for command and control centres, meeting spaces, IPTV deployments and digital signage networks, providing customers with a more integrated approach to system design and operation.

The partnership is expected to create new opportunities for South African integrators working across corporate, education, broadcast and mission-critical sectors.
