Vutec to distribute G&D and VuWall in South Africa

South Africa:

G&D and VuWall have appointed Vutec as the exclusive distributor for their KVM and videowall management solutions in South Africa, strengthening local access to the companies' control room technologies.

The agreement covers G&D's KVM-over-IP infrastructure and VuWall's visualisation platforms, which are deployed in sectors including mining, utilities, transportation, public safety, industrial automation and corporate security.

Under the partnership, Vutec will serve as the primary commercial and technical point of contact for customers, consultants and system integrators across South Africa. The company will provide local sales support, technical demonstrations, pre-sales services, partner enablement programmes and project assistance. The move is intended to simplify procurement and deployment for regional customers by enabling local transactions and support while reducing logistical complexity.

“We are excited to bring the combined strengths of G&D and VuWall to the South African market through a dedicated local presence,” said Johan Pretorius, who leads Vutec. “Our goal is to provide customers and partners with the technical expertise, support and responsiveness needed to successfully deploy and operate world-class control room solutions.”

According to G&D and VuWall, expanding their presence in South Africa has been a strategic priority as demand grows for advanced control room and visualisation technologies across critical infrastructure sectors.

“Vutec brings the kind of deep operational technology expertise and local market knowledge that our customers in this region require,” commented Eric Hénique, chief revenue officer at G&D and VuWall. “We are confident this partnership will translate into stronger support and faster project delivery.”

Mirko Aubel, EVP sales EMEA at G&D and VuWall, added: “The Southern African market presents a significant opportunity across mining, utilities and public safety – verticals where our visualisation platform is well-proven. Having a dedicated, experienced local partner changes what we can deliver for integrators and end users in the region.”

It was noted that existing VuWall reseller partners will retain their current commercial arrangements and partner status as the companies transition to the new local distribution model.
