CineAV named HOF distributor in South Africa
Expanding its presence in the region, HOF has named Johannesburg-based CineAV as its new distribution partner for South Africa. The collaboration aims to strengthen the brand’s access to the local market, while providing customers with direct access to HOF’s truss and rigging solutions, technical support and product demonstrations.
CineAV serves a broad range of professional AV markets, including live events, entertainment production, corporate environments, education, hospitality, cinema and houses of worship. The company is also part of the VUEAV Group, which operates across the Middle East through offices in Dubai, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, and serves as the HOF distributor in the region.
Through the move, CineAV will distribute a selection of HOF products, including the Original MLT Pre Rig Truss Series, Excellent Line truss systems, HOF's standard truss portfolio and the PG3 NEO Design Stand.
“CineAV is excited to represent the HOF brand in South Africa,” said Tyron Ackerman, managing director of CineAV. “With HOF, we are expanding our portfolio with high-quality truss and rigging solutions that perfectly complement our existing offering. We look forward to growing the HOF brand in our market and providing our customers with direct access to the products and local support.”
As part of the partnership, selected HOF products will be showcased at MediaTech Africa 2026. In addition, the Original MLT Pre Rig Truss Series will be permanently available at CineAV's Johannesburg demonstration centre, allowing customers to evaluate the system and explore project specific applications.
“We see great potential for the Original MLT Pre Rig Truss Series in the South African market,” said Edwin Duivelaar, sales and export manager at HOF. “Together with CineAV, we are creating opportunities for customers to experience our products locally and receive support at an early stage of their project planning.”
The appointment forms part of HOF's wider strategy to expand its international distribution network and strengthen support for customers across Africa through local partners and demonstration facilities.
