Magna Systems to distribute Canara Lighting in ANZ
Magna Systems has been appointed the Australia and New Zealand technology partner and distributor for Canara Lighting, expanding access to the manufacturer's lighting systems for broadcasters, studios, live venues and architectural projects across the region.
Founded in 1972, Canara Lighting designs and manufactures lighting systems for television and film studios, theatres, auditoriums, stadiums and architectural installations. Its portfolio includes LED lighting fixtures, motorised rigging systems, pantographs, curtain systems, cable management, electrical control panels and lighting consoles, enabling complete lighting deployments from design through to commissioning.
The partnership will see Magna Systems provide local sales, technical support and systems integration for Canara Lighting customers throughout ANZ. The distributor said the collaboration will support projects across broadcast, production, live entertainment and architectural sectors.

Ajeet Khare, managing director of Canara Lighting, said Magna Systems' established presence across ANZ and the wider APAC region made it a suitable partner to expand the company's reach. “The company has an excellent reputation for technical competence, customer support and market knowledge,” he said. “We are confident Magna Systems will help introduce our solutions to more customers while providing the guidance and expertise required throughout each project.”
The companies will jointly showcase Canara Lighting's solutions at the ABE Show, taking place at Carriageworks in Sydney from 30–31 July, where the products will be demonstrated on Magna Systems' exhibition stands.
