Equipped with the same high-speed media modules as Blackmagic URSA Cine cameras, the Blackmagic Media Dock Ultra provides high-performance storage that can be instantly removed. Created for editing media from URSA Cine cameras directly from the modules without copying files, in addition to recording from the HyperDeck ISO Recorder 100G, the media module can be unplugged when a live production ends. Capable of syncing to Blackmagic Cloud, one model features four 10G Ethernet connections and another incorporates two separate 100G Ethernet connections.

The rack-mount design holds up to three Blackmagic Media Modules for network sharing. Marked by illuminated LED rings, each module has four M.2 flash memory cards in RAID 0. Featuring faster network speeds, front-to-back cooling and multiple fans for redundancy and quiet operation, all models include dual redundant power supplies. A single local cache of media can be shared and uploaded instantly to the Blackmagic Cloud without needing to be downloaded. Allowing multiple DaVinci Resolve workstations to access recorded files instantly on-set, digital film DIT carts and postproduction workflows can be created with Blackmagic Media Dock.

StudioBridge 10G PWR
StudioBridge 10G PWR

Designed to bridge low-cost single link 10G Ethernet SMPTE-2110 connections into high-end redundant 100G Ethernet based systems, the Blackmagic StudioBridge 10G PWR converter can connect and power up to eight 10G Ethernet 2110 IP channels. If the 10G Ethernet products use a single connection, then the Blackmagic StudioBridge 10G PWR will also bridge into the two 100G Ethernet connections for a redundant broadcast system. With four internal power supplies, it can provide each of the 10G Ethernet connections with 90W PoE++ power over managed IP broadcast networks. Conforming to the SMPTE-2110 standard, 10-bit video, audio and ancillary data can re-sync SDI inputs to a common PTP clock, or external equipment can lock to the reference output generated from the PTP clock.

Building on the digital film features of the URSA Cine 12K LF, including the large-format RGBW 36mm x 24mm sensor, the URSA Cine 12K LF 100G adds faster networking for cinematic live production workflows. With 100G Ethernet for SMPTE-2110 live production high frame rate output up to 440fps, the camera can be transformed into a live studio camera when the SMPTE-2110 Live has been set in the menu. Supporting live slow-motion sports replays up to 2160p60 with cinematic quality and 16 stops of dynamic range, real-time SMPTE-2110 IP video is recorded from the Ethernet connector.

The URSA Cine Immersive 100G has been designed for live production with Apple Immersive Video. Featuring dual 8Kx8K RGBW sensors with 16 stops of dynamic range, the URSA Cine Immersive 100G uses 100G Ethernet to deliver the bandwidth needed to output live immersive video. Meanwhile, the URSA Live Encoder is a live processor module that compresses live immersive video into Apple ProRes for output as SMPTE-2110-22 IP video, allowing customers to combine the stereo, high frame rate image streams into a single 100G Ethernet connection.
