1 Sound adds outdoor wood finish option

1 Sound has announced that exterior wood finishes are now available across its entire loudspeaker range through the company's Custom Shop programme.

The new finish option is designed for permanent outdoor installations, allowing integrators to specify wood finished loudspeakers for projects exposed to the elements. According to 1 Sound, the exterior wood treatment draws on traditional structural building techniques from countries including Japan and Norway, with a focus on long-term durability.

The company said all of its loudspeakers can now be customised for both indoor and outdoor applications, with typical lead times of three to four weeks.

The expanded offering provides additional finish options for projects where loudspeakers are required to complement architectural aesthetics while being installed in outdoor environments.
