RCF extends its EVOX credentials with V15

Expanding on the EVOX J9, EVOX J11 and EVOX JMIX9 portable column series, the EVOX V15 from RCF is powered by a 3,500W Class-D amplifier with built-in DSP. It delivers extended low end up to 133dB SPL output. The 3-way architecture incorporates dedicated transducers for each frequency range, including a 1.75-inch neodymium compression driver on a 120° x 40° True Resistive Waveguide, 10 4-inch neodymium midrange transducers and a 15-inch RCF Precision low-frequency woofer.

Available in black and white finishes, the lightweight composite column attaches to a precision-tuned plywood subwoofer enclosure. Offering a quick mechanical setup, onboard presets and complete system optimisation, the EVOX V15 combines high performance with minimalist setup complexity and a discreet visual footprint. When extended low end is required, dedicated presets ensure that RCF’s Advanced Crossover Engine (ACE)-enabled subwoofer models can be added at the touch of a button. ACE precisely adjusts time delay and phase to optimise system power and low-frequency impact. The EVOX V15 package includes a padded transport bag for the column array. Optional protection and handling accessories are available, including a padded subwoofer cover, a protective transport sleeve and a transport cart.

Created solely for the Americas, the Italian brand has also launched the ART 8 Series of portable active loudspeakers for PA and fill applications or as stage monitors. Based on the ART 9 Series design, the versatile ART 8 Series of reinforced composite enclosures features M-Brace internal bracing, a steel grille, handles, a 35mm pole socket and M10 rigging points. Available with 10-, 12- and 15-inch woofers, each model features True Resistive Waveguide technology, 1,400W Class-D amplification and advanced DSP. FiRPHASE processing ensures coherent-source behaviour with 0° linear phase, enhancing imaging and vocal clarity. Enabling fast system tuning from the subwoofer interface, ACE-enabled subwoofer models include integration presets for the ART 8, while XBOOST provides additional low-frequency depth when activated from the rear panel.
