Thomsun hosts Crestron training for UAE AV professionals
Thomsun Trading Establishment recently hosted a Crestron training session at its Learning & Experience Centre in Al Quoz, Dubai, bringing together system integrators and AV consultants for technical updates on the manufacturer's latest collaboration, control and AV-over-IP technologies.
The event forms part of Thomsun's ongoing programme of technical education, which is designed to support partners across the UAE through regular workshops, product demonstrations and hands-on training.
The session covered a broad range of Crestron systems, including DM NVX AV-over-IP, DM Essentials, collaboration and videoconferencing platforms, intelligent video and audio, room scheduling, control systems, cloud management, and lighting and shading technologies.
Live demonstrations and practical exercises gave attendees the opportunity to explore system configuration, control workflows and integration techniques in a real-world environment, while discussing project requirements directly with the technical team.
Particular attention was given to Crestron's collaboration technologies, including Collab Compute and Intelligent Video, reflecting growing demand for meeting spaces that incorporate advanced camera tracking, intelligent framing and integrated conferencing platforms.
