Joyned becomes Avnu Alliance Promoter Member

Joyned has become a Promoter Member of the Avnu Alliance, expanding its involvement in the development of the Milan professional audio networking ecosystem.

The Austrian company, which was previously a Milan Associate Member, will now participate in Avnu Alliance technical working groups, certification initiatives and industry collaboration aimed at advancing Milan interoperability. As a Promoter Member, Joyned joins companies including Adamson, Audiotonix, d&b audiotechnik, L-Acoustics, Luminex, Meyer Sound and PreSonus.

“We’re pleased to welcome Joyned as a Promoter Member of Avnu, building on their journey as a Milan Associate member,” said Daniel Zimmermann, Avnu board member. “Avnu is defined by what its members deliver together on real-time Ethernet and Joyned brings strong momentum with its focus on Milan devices. We look forward to shaping the next phase of the ecosystem together.”

Under its expanded role, Joyned will contribute to the Milan Task Group, support the continued development of certification programmes, help improve access to Milan-certified switch technology and participate in education initiatives through the Avnu EXCEP programme.

“We've always been committed to Milan because we believe interoperability should be an expectation, not a differentiator,” commented Joyned founder and CEO Fabian Braun. “With our technology deployed by partners and our products reaching customers worldwide, becoming an Avnu Alliance Promoter Member is the natural next step. It allows us to contribute not only through our products, but also by helping strengthen the Milan ecosystem for the benefit of manufacturers and users alike.”

Morten Lave, CTO of Joyned, added: “Milan has established a strong technical foundation for interoperability. We're looking forward to contributing to its continued evolution, particularly in areas where modern software driven products can be better supported through certification while maintaining the reliability and interoperability that make Milan successful.”
