DAS Audio pumps up Indonesia’s NXT GYM
A DAS Audio sound system has been installed at the NXT GYM fitness centre located within Summarecon Mall Bekasi in West Java, Indonesia. The project was completed by the manufacturer’s West Jakarta-based distributor, Panca Inti Bermitra, which designed and installed the audio system to provide consistent coverage across the gym's training areas while maintaining the venue's modern interior.
According to the integrator, the brief called for a system capable of delivering clear, high-quality audio to support the facility's day-to-day operations and create an energetic environment for members. The installation also needed to minimise its visual impact, with loudspeakers and subwoofers occupying as little space as possible.
To meet these requirements, Panca Inti Bermitra specified a solution based on DAS Audio's QUANTUM and INTEGRAL series. The installation comprises 14 Q-23-T loudspeakers, six Q-8 subwoofers, two INTEGRAL-A1004 amplifiers and two INTEGRAL-A1602 amplifiers.
The system was designed to provide uniform audio coverage throughout the training areas while allowing the loudspeakers to be integrated discreetly into the venue. The INTEGRAL series amplifiers provide system power and control for daily operation.
According to the Panca Inti Bermitra team, the system delivers powerful, clear and balanced sound reproduction, ensuring an engaging audio experience throughout the training area. The company also highlighted how the compact loudspeaker design allows for discreet integration into the facility without affecting the interior layout or occupying unnecessary space.
The installation forms part of the retail and leisure development at Summarecon Mall Bekasi, operated by Indonesian property developer Summarecon, with the completed audio system providing background music and programme audio throughout the fitness centre.
