Outline’s ISAAC gets an upgrade

Outline has updated its ISAAC multi-platform control application, which introduces enhancements to the EQ filters section, including new filter types, improved graphical representation and a zoom function for more detailed adjustments.

Dialogue functions have been added to the Input and Output Patch assignment sections, providing feedback following user actions. A “ripple” feature has also been introduced, allowing multiple channel elements to be cascaded recursively. Users can now report Newton-related issues directly from within ISAAC through a dedicated form on Outline’s website. A Newton “status dump” function has also been added, allowing users to export device parameters to a file for troubleshooting.

The latest update provides a summary of key changes to the software’s “About” box. Users can view recent updates directly within the application without needing to access separate versions of log files released alongside software updates.
