Entech heads to New Zealand after record Australian tour
Having just wrapped up what is reported to be a record-breaking run across Australia, Entech will conclude its 2026 roadshow in New Zealand. The trade roadshow, which visits major population centres across Australia and New Zealand, opens at the Auckland International Convention Centre on 28 July before travelling to Lower Hutt Events Centre in Wellington on 30 July and Te Pae Christchurch on 4 August.
The Australian leg of the tour visited Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide, with total visitor registrations increasing by 27% compared with the previous year. Sydney recorded the strongest growth, with registrations up 37%, followed by Melbourne (32%), Adelaide (28%), Brisbane (20%) and Perth (3%).
Entech CEO Kate McKenzie said: “It encompassed five cities, one amazing crew and thousands of handshakes. After rolling through Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide, the Entech Roadshow has packed up its trucks and called 2026 a wrap in Australia with the numbers making for very good reading as we head to New Zealand.”
According to the show organisers, 85% of registered visitors across the Australian events reported having a purchasing role, whether as a final decision-maker, specifier or influencer, while 82% indicated they were planning purchases either during the event or within the next 12 months.
Audio remained the most popular area of interest, selected by 74% of visitors, followed by lighting at 60% and video and broadcast at 49%. It was also noted that all 68 exhibitor stands were fully booked throughout the Australian tour.
The roadshow also introduced its Tech Train programme alongside seminars and hands-on demonstrations. Organisers said the touring operation covered more than 10,500km across Australia, supported by four logistics trucks, local crew and venue staff in each city.
Following the New Zealand events, Entech will adopt a revised format in 2027, focusing on Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane as part of what organisers describe as a more targeted roadshow.
