TT+ extends coverage
TT+ extends coverage
Designed for applications requiring tighter horizontal coverage and enhanced long-throw performance, GTX 7CP from TT+ Audio extends the GTX 7C platform with a narrower linear resistive waveguide while maintaining the same active cardioid architecture, high-output capability and DSP-driven directivity management. By concentrating high-frequency energy into an 80° horizontal angle, the GTX 7CP delivers higher SPL over distance than the standard 120° GTX 7C configuration. While combining GTX 7C and GTX 7CP modules can be recommended for specific venue geometries, arrays composed entirely of GTX 7CP modules are suitable when wide horizontal coverage is not required, helping reduce unwanted reflections from side walls, nearby boundaries and reflective architectural surfaces.
The GTX 7CP has been designed to give system engineers a more focused coverage option within the compact GTX cardioid family. The 80° waveguide helps project sound farther while limiting excess energy outside the audience area. Combined with active cardioid technology, it reportedly minimises rear spill towards the stage, backstage areas and surrounding environments.
The enclosure provides 140dB max SPL, 80° x 10° linear resistive waveguide, 22dB average rear attenuation along with FiRPHASE and BMC processing. It comes with two 7-inch front and two 5.5-inch rear neodymium woofers and a 3-inch titanium dome neodymium compression driver. The speaker has been designed to operate with XPS 16K amplifiers and is compatible with the GTS 16C cardioid subwoofer.
