Ventum Tech and INFiLED have completed what is reported to be one of Doha's largest digital out-of-home (DOOH) deployments, installing more than 1,200m2 of outdoor LED displays across the Marriott Marquis City Center Doha and surrounding West Bay district.
Designed to serve one of Qatar's busiest commercial and hospitality hubs, the project creates a connected digital advertising network combining large-format LED displays with infrastructure engineered for long-term operation in Doha's demanding climate. Qatar-based systems integrator Ventum Tech led the project's design, engineering, integration and deployment, while INFiLED supplied its outdoor LED technology and technical support throughout the installation.
The deployment was designed to address the challenges of outdoor digital signage in the region, including maintaining visibility in direct sunlight, supporting real-time content management and ensuring continuous operation for media owners and advertisers.
Following a detailed engineering and consultation phase, the project team selected the brand’s MVmk2 Series, featuring a 6.9mm pixel pitch and brightness of up to 8,000 nits to provide visibility under high ambient light conditions. The network comprises a 300m2 LED display at the Marriott Marquis and a 920m2 curved LED façade integrated into the hotel's parking ramp structure. Rather than functioning as a conventional billboard, the curved installation transforms part of the building envelope into a continuous digital media surface.
During the planning stage, the project team also considered structural integration, power and signal distribution, viewing angles, environmental exposure, serviceability and long-term maintenance requirements to support continuous operation.
Installation, calibration and commissioning were carried out jointly by Ventum Tech's engineering team and INFiLED's technical specialists to ensure consistent brightness, colour accuracy and synchronisation across the network. The completed platform supports real-time content updates, flexible campaign scheduling and simultaneous multibrand advertising, providing a scalable digital media network for operators and advertisers.
“Ventum Tech chose INFiLED as the OEM partner for our DOOH business because we are not simply supplying screens,” commented Antoine Saab, managing director at Ventum Tech. “We are investing our own capital, deploying the infrastructure, operating the assets and carrying the full maintenance and lifecycle responsibility over many years. In this model, uptime is directly connected to revenue. Any failure represents not only a technical issue, but a direct commercial impact. Long-term reliability, operational stability and minimal maintenance intervention therefore become fundamental investment requirements rather than optional technical preferences.”
