Williams AV appoints Audiosure in South Africa

South Africa:

Williams AV has expanded its international distribution network with the appointment of South African audiovisual distributor Audiosure, strengthening the company's presence across the local market.

The partnership will see Audiosure supply Williams AV's wireless audio and assistive communication solutions to systems integrators throughout South Africa, with the aim of supporting deployments in venues seeking to improve hearing and language accessibility. The agreement also extends support to neighbouring markets.

The move forms part of the brand’s ongoing international expansion strategy which has seen it appoint distribution partners across Europe, Singapore and Morocco in the past six months.

The manufacturer said that the appointment comes as demand grows for assistive listening technologies in public venues, particularly in regions with diverse language requirements.

“South Africa is an exciting market with 12 official languages and growing awareness around hearing accessibility, creating meaningful opportunities to improve inclusion in public spaces,” said Per Persson, vice president of international sales and product management at Williams AV. “Audiosure has a strong reputation in the AV industry and brings valuable local expertise and technical knowledge to this partnership. We're excited to work together to help venues across South Africa and neighbouring countries deliver more accessible and inclusive audio experiences.”

Audiosure said the addition of Williams AV complements its existing portfolio and broadens the accessibility solutions available to customers.

“We are excited to partner with Williams AV and look forward to working with your whole team in the years ahead,” commented Alison Taman, operations executive at Audiosure. “Their innovative assistive communication systems perfectly complement our current portfolio and we look forward to helping venues remove communication barriers with their audiences.”
