Optocore has appointed Tine Helmle as managing director, marking a leadership transition as the fibre networking specialist looks to build on its position in the professional audio, broadcast and AV markets.

Helmle takes over leadership of the Munich-based company following more than three decades of growth in fibre-based signal transport technology. Optocore's networking systems are deployed across touring productions, theatres, broadcast facilities, stadiums, houses of worship, universities and permanent installations worldwide.

The appointment follows the company's long-term development under founder Marc Brunke, whose work helped establish Optocore as a provider of fibre-based networking solutions for professional applications.

“Optocore is a company with a very clear identity,” said Helmle. “It stands for reliability, trust, precision and long-term thinking. These values are deeply connected to the people behind the company and to the customers who rely on our systems every day.”

According to the company, Helmle's immediate priorities include maintaining relationships with customers, distributors and partners while overseeing the next phase of the business. Optocore said its future direction will focus on continuity and measured development rather than significant strategic change.

The company also confirmed that its relationship with BroaMan will remain a key part of its offering. Together, the two brands provide fibre-based transport solutions for audio, video, data and intercom signals, supporting applications across broadcast, live events and fixed installations.
