Mahajak Trio Powers upgraded audio experience at Pullman Kuching
Pullman Kuching has strengthened its audiovisual capabilities with the implementation of a professional sound system featuring components from Dynacord, Electro-Voice and HH Audio, designed to support the growing demands of meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) in Sarawak.
As business events activity in the state capital continues to gain momentum, the system has been engineered to deliver flexible coverage and consistent sound performance across a wide range of event formats, from large-scale conferences and exhibitions to corporate functions, weddings and live entertainment.
Electro-Voice and Dynacord products were supplied by Mahajak Trio Electronic, the authorised distributor in Malaysia for both brands, while IMS Distribution represents the HH brand in the region. System integration and commissioning were carried out by VSE Electrical.
“The system was designed with versatility in mind, enabling seamless adaptation across different event requirements while maintaining consistent audio quality throughout the venue,” said Melvin Chin, managing director of VSE Electrical.
Pullman Kuching's new sound system includes 20 Electro-Voice EVID C12.2 ceiling loudspeakers for distributed audio, supporting background music and announcements throughout shared spaces. For portable and event-focused applications, the hotel has deployed four EVOLVE 50M column systems, two EVOLVE 30M systems, and four ELX200-10P powered loudspeakers.
Amplification is provided by three Dynacord C3600FDI power amplifiers, selected for their integrated DSP and flexible system management capabilities. Additional components include HH TNA1800S and TNA2051 speakers, along with HH BRK-1 mounting accessories, supporting system configuration and deployment across different areas of the hotel.
The enhanced audio system supports Pullman Kuching's ability to host large-scale and complex events, anchored by the Colosseum Grand Ballroom, which is reported to be Sarawak's largest pillarless ballroom accommodating up to 2,800 guests, alongside flexible exhibition space for up to 30 booths. This is complemented by 13 purpose-built meeting rooms, hybrid-ready event infrastructure and 389 guestrooms to support multiday conferences and international delegates.
