Alphatec to distribute Amadeus Acoustics in India

Amadeus Acoustics has appointed Alphatec Audio Video as its exclusive distributor in India, strengthening the Austrian audio specialist's presence in the region’s fast-growing professional AV markets.

Under the agreement, Alphatec will distribute the manufacturer' portfolio of active acoustics, immersive sound and voice lift technologies across the country, targeting theatres, concert halls, auditoriums and other performance and experiential venues.

Founded in 2018, Amadeus Acoustics develops brand-agnostic active acoustics solutions through its ART platform, enabling venues to adapt their acoustic environments to suit different productions and events. Recent deployments include the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna, alongside installations at Theater an der Wien, Tonhalle Düsseldorf and the Mythos Mozart exhibition.

The partnership gives Indian AV integrators and venue developers direct access to Amadeus Acoustics' software platform, hardware ecosystem and design services through the distributor’s local network.
