Logical additions
UK manufacturer Logic System has added the AC Series to its growing portfolio of loudspeaker systems. Featuring a contemporary industrial design, the AC12 and AC15 point source loudspeakers feature 12- and 15-inch neodymium drivers with 3-inch voice coils and demodulation rings, in addition to 1.4-inch compression drivers offering extended HF response. The coaxial driver design maintains an 80° x 80° pattern control down to below the crossover point. Housed in respective 18mm and 15mm Baltic birch plywood cabinets and finished in a polyurea coating, the speakers provide flexibility of use with five M10 inserts, a pole mount and pocket handles.
Differentiating itself from the AC Series as a non-coaxial passive point source design, the AT Series currently comprises two loudspeaker models. Featuring 15- and 12-inch woofers respectively, the AT15 and AT12 models incorporate 3.5- and 3-inch voice coils and low distortion ferrite LF drivers. Titanium diaphragm ferrite compression drivers married to respective 80° x 60° and 90° x 60° (HxV) rotatable elliptical HF die-cast horns maintain pattern control down to the 2.2kHz crossover point. Housed in 18mm (AT15) and 15mm (AT12) trapezoidal Baltic birch plywood cabinets and finished with a polyurea coating, each speaker comprises 12 M10 inserts, a pole mount and pocket handles. Up to eight AT12s or AT15s can be driven by one LS Series amplifier, which also comes pre-loaded with EQ presets and limiter settings from the A Series.
