NEP Platform adds Riedel SimplyLive Production Suite
NEP Group has expanded its NEP Platform software ecosystem with the addition of Riedel's SimplyLive Production Suite, giving customers access to an integrated live production solution that can be deployed and managed through a single interface. The addition enables users to incorporate SimplyLive's live production, replay, ingest recording, streaming and video review capabilities into software-defined production workflows alongside other applications already available through NEP Platform.
Rather than replacing existing production software, NEP Platform is designed to act as an orchestration layer, allowing customers to deploy, connect and manage multiple software applications through a unified environment while scaling resources as production requirements change.
“Organisations don't want to replace the workflows and expertise they've already invested in or be locked into a single solution – they want the freedom to choose the right software for every production,” said Dan Murphy, vice president of NEP Platform. “That's exactly what NEP Platform enables. We provide the orchestration layer that allows customers to deploy, connect and manage trusted software applications through a unified operational framework. The addition of SimplyLive further expands customer choice while continuing to grow the industry's largest software ecosystem for media production.”
Ulrich Voigt, director of live production solutions at Riedel Communications, added: “SimplyLive is built to give production teams maximum flexibility – whether on a truck, in a studio, remotely or in the cloud. Making SimplyLive available through NEP Platform takes that flexibility even further: customers can now embed SimplyLive seamlessly into broader, software-defined production environments while retaining the operational freedom that modern production teams expect.”
According to NEP, every NEP Platform deployment is supported by its production teams, combining software orchestration with the company's wider portfolio of mobile units, production hubs, connectivity, studios, rental equipment and creative services.
