System Plus adds Auvitran to Thailand portfolio

System Plus Corporation has been appointed as a distributor for Auvitran in Thailand by Digigram Asia, expanding the Thai distributor and systems integrator’s portfolio of audio networking solutions.

The appointment forms part of Digigram Asia’s strategy to strengthen its distribution network across Southeast Asia, with a focus on partners experienced in networking technologies including AES67, AVB and ST 2110. The Singapore-based company also distributes Digigram soundcards and Audio-over-IP gateways, alongside Axel Technology and Barix.

“Digigram Asia is seeking best fit distribution partners for each southeast Asia country, particularly dealers with experience and knowledge in networking technologies such as AES67, AVB and ST2110,” said Samuel Defour, Digigram Asia’s head of technical solutions. “The agreement with System Plus Corporation will enhance both our branding and increase our sales within the fixed installation business across a wide cross section of verticals.”

Auvitran develops audio networking products including the Audio ToolBox Suite, AVDT-BOB range, Dante microphone breakout boxes and AV-Wall wallplates, alongside associated monitoring software.

System Plus managing director Chuthintorn Bhanyotin said demand from business partners for Auvitran’s wallplates and I/O connectors prompted the company to add the brand. “Our clients, especially in the hospitality business, demand extremely stable and rugged products, and having tested Auvitran’s products, our engineers are assured that they can specify these with confidence,” she said. “My clients know the brand works and we will use it for our own projects, but more importantly, we will grow our network of dealers and systems integrators with this brand.”
