Olive & Ouzo, a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant in Goa, has installed an LD Systems sound system designed to provide consistent audio coverage across the venue.
The installation comprises Stinger 10 G3 2-way passive 10-inch bass-reflex PA loudspeakers, two Stinger Sub 15 G3 subwoofers and AmplifyX amplifiers. The system was implemented by Final Touch.
The Stinger 10 G3 is a passive two-way loudspeaker incorporating a 10-inch low/mid driver and 1-inch high-frequency driver, with a 90° x 50° dispersion pattern. The loudspeaker is intended for applications requiring full-range sound reinforcement while maintaining intelligibility across the listening area.
Low-frequency reinforcement is provided by two Stinger SUB 15 G3 units. The passive 15-inch bass-reflex subwoofers feature 600W RMS power handling and are designed to extend the system's low-frequency output. Each unit has a 15-inch woofer and can be used in horizontal or vertical configurations.
AmplifyX amplifiers provide power for the passive loudspeakers and subwoofers. The combination was selected for the restaurant's background music requirements, with the system supporting both daytime dining and busier evening periods.
The installation forms part of Olive & Ouzo's wider approach to creating a Mediterranean-inspired environment, with audio integrated alongside the venue's interior design, food and ambience.
