Tascam appoints Takashi Tsunoyama as general manager

Tascam has appointed Takashi Tsunoyama as general manager of its division, bringing more than 25 years of experience with TEAC Corporation to the role.

Tsunoyama has held a range of leadership positions across international sales, business development and global operations during his career with the company. He relocated to Germany in 2017 to take up the position of export sales manager at TEAC Europe, where he contributed to the expansion of Tascam’s international business and strengthened relationships with distributors and partners across global markets.

In 2021, Tsunoyama was appointed managing director of TEAC Europe. During his five-year tenure, he led the company’s European operations while working closely with distributors, customers and industry partners across the region.

Following his return to Japan in June, Tsunoyama assumed leadership of the Tascam Division. In his new role, he will oversee the division’s global business activities and support its continued growth across international markets.

“It is a privilege to lead the Tascam Division and build on the strong foundations established by our global teams,” said Tsunoyama. “Having spent the past five years working closely with customers and partners across Europe, I look forward to bringing that experience back to Japan and further strengthening the Tascam brand worldwide.”

His appointment comes as Tascam continues to develop its international operations, with Tsunoyama’s experience across both European and global markets expected to support the brand’s relationships with distributors, customers and partners worldwide.
