Magewell expands Pro Convert IP range

Two new members have been added to Magewell’s Pro Convert IP decoder family, providing the company’s first IP-to-12G SDI decoding solutions. The Pro Convert IP to AIO 4K is the standalone version and can decode popular IP streams up to 4Kp60 and provide simultaneous HDMI 2.0 and 12G-SDI outputs in full-screen or Multiview layouts, with support for HDR10 and HLG. It connects baseband presentation or distribution equipment into IP-based media networks and stays compatible with popular video formats and streaming protocols. The decoder supports HDR PQ/HLG and remote centralised management is via Control Hub or Zixi ZEN Master. Video preview, in real-time stream or MJPEG picture, is available on the web GUI.

The ninth module in Magewell’s expanding Modator lineup, the Pro Convert IP to AIO 4K Module brings IP-to-12G SDI decoding to centralised rack deployments. Designed for use in the Magewell Modator 2U chassis, this hot-swappable module provides the same core decoding capabilities as the standalone version while enabling a higher-density installation for greater space efficiency. When used with the enhanced Control Hub management software interface, introduced earlier this year, a new preview function allows easy video monitoring in the web UI and via Control Hub. It decodes one 4Kp60 IP stream or up to four HD IP streams for a multiview output and is centrally manageable via the Modator chassis, Magewell Control Hub or Zixi ZEN Master.
