Middle East:

Richard Burton has joined ETC’s growing sales force in the Middle East and India regions in the position of field project coordinator. In this role, he will work closely with regional sales manager Mark Larcombe, supporting ETC customers and projects across the locales while helping to further strengthen the brand’s presence and relationships throughout the region.

Burton will work from the manufacturer’s studio in Dubai’s Media City, travelling across the UAE and the region as required. The studio serves as a regional hub for training, events, product demonstrations and technical support.

He brings extensive technical and regional expertise to the role from his 20 years of experience in the lighting industry and is already well known to ETC customers and users across the Middle East. For the past several years, Burton has worked as the company’s lead Eos trainer in the region, supporting customers and professionals with training on the control platform. He also boasts experience in the dealer side of the business from his time working at ETC partner Oasis Enterprises as entertainment and themed environment manager.

Throughout his career, Burton has held a number of key roles across the region and internationally, including working as lighting manager at Dubai Opera House, as well as experience at the P.E.A.R.L. in London and the Royal Opera House in Muscat, Oman.

“We’re thrilled to have Rich on board,” said Mark Larcombe, regional sales manager. “With his experience, knowledge and previous work with ETC, he is a natural fit and a valuable addition to both ETC and our customers.”
