Dalet chooses Brian Doheny for CEO

Dalet has appointed Brian Doheny as CEO, where he will oversee the company’s global strategy and operations, with a focus on aligning customer requirements with product strategy, innovation and execution. Doheny joined the media technology company in April 2026 as president and CRO, taking responsibility for its go-to-market and customer experience organisations.

Bringing more than 30 years of experience in enterprise technology, he previously served as CRO at Veriforce, where he contributed to growth preceding the company’s acquisition by Apax. He has also held senior positions at TIBCO and Hewlett Packard Enterprise.

According to Dalet, his appointment comes as media organisations continue to adapt to changes in content creation, management and distribution, driven by developments in AI and cloud technologies alongside changing audience expectations and operational pressures.

“Brian has brought strong strategic focus and operational discipline to Dalet, while keeping customer value at the centre of the company’s strategy,” said Will Brennan, managing partner at the Long Path Partners investment firm which owns Dalet. “His appointment as CEO reflects our confidence in his ability to lead Dalet through its next phase and ensure we continue to innovate around the evolving needs of our customers and the broader media industry.”

Doheny added: “Since joining Dalet, I have had the opportunity to spend time with our customers, partners and teams around the world, and one thing is very clear: the pace of change in our industry is only accelerating, and Dalet is uniquely positioned to lead the way. Our opportunity is not simply to respond to that change. It is to anticipate it. We need to understand the challenges our customers face today, anticipate the ones they’ll face in the future, and how Dalet will help address them with speed and confidence.”
