Music Beats invests in DAS Audio Lara

Delhi-based Music Beats has bolstered its audio arsenal with a DAS Audio Lara system provided by Stagemix Technologies.

Led by Taranjeet Singh, the company has added 12 Lara line array units and 10 Lara subwoofers, complemented by two Rack-Ara-230-MK2 amplifier racks, giving Music Beats a system designed for demanding live sound applications.

Lara is a  4-way, self-amplified cardioid line array system delivering 6,000 W RMS and 12,000 W peak power, with a maximum SPL of 150 dB and 100° horizontal coverage. The cardioid design provides up to 15dB of rear attenuation between 63Hz and 200Hz, helping reduce unwanted energy behind the array. The system also incorporates FIR DSP and ALMA control, while its integrated rigging system allows arrays of up to 24 Lara units and 16 Lara Sub units. 

Music Beats said it made the investment to strengthen its capabilities for live events, concerts, touring productions and large-scale sound reinforcement.
