Arthur Holm loses the hatch with D2

Removing the visible hatch traditionally associated with retractable monitors, Arthur Holm's D2 uses an aluminium tabletop frame to create a flush installation that can be fitted from above the table. The design combines elements from the manufacturer's DB2 and DynamicX2 ranges, pairing the former's discreet approach with the integration and connectivity options of the latter. Touching an integrated capacitive sensor raises the display vertically from the furniture, after which it can be tilted by up to 20°. A second sensor in the monitor glass controls tilt and retraction.

D2 supports addressable RS-422/RS-485 full-duplex control using Arthur Holm's AHnet protocol, alongside opto-isolated GPI Up/Down control. An RJ45 CAT-6 connection with loop-through supports AHnet, while USB provides access for firmware upgrades. Interactive Setup Display and automatic mechanical movement calibration are included, with optional Ethernet interfaces adding AHlink app-based setup, diagnostics and control.

Connectivity can be configured around individual projects. The 17.3-inch Full HD AH17D2 provides two HDCP-compliant DVI inputs as standard, with options including dual HDMI inputs, projected-capacitive multitouch, a built-on PC Box, retractable USB-C or HDMI cables, an integrated USB camera and DynamicShare.

The range is available in 17-inch, 17-inch 4K, 22-inch and 24-inch 4K versions, with painted, black anodised, gold and bronze finishes among the customisation options. Laser engraving can also be applied to the aluminium tabletop frame.
