Fixture preparation, configuration, servicing and firmware management are brought together in Cameo Connect, a digital workflow solution for supported Cameo lighting equipment. Available as Windows software and an iOS or Android app, the platform is intended for rental, production, touring, warehousing and service applications.

Cameo Connect allows users to prepare fixture configurations remotely, save settings as templates and share them with onsite teams. During setup, configurations can be transferred to compatible fixtures via NFC (Near Field Communication), without a wired connection or the fixture being powered on.

The platform also provides service functions, allowing users to retrieve fixture information, configuration data and service details through NFC. This information can be compiled for support enquiries, reducing the need to manually gather serial numbers, display photos and log data.

QR codes assigned to each supported model provide access to technical resources, including manuals, downloads, photometric data and DMX charts. The app also links to the relevant Cameo product page.

For rental and warehouse operations, the app can issue factory-reset commands via NFC while fixtures remain switched off and inside their flight cases. The reset is applied when the fixture is next powered on, helping return equipment to a defined state before its next deployment.

The software also supports cloud-based firmware management, checking for available versions online and enabling updates across multiple fixtures and models. Firmware workflows are based on the ESTA E1.37-4 standard and include checks for corrupted data, alongside mechanisms for aborting failed transfers and installations. Compatible fixtures also include recovery functions.

At launch, Cameo CONNECT supports the ZENIT G2 series and 600W models in the OPUS series. The software and app are available as free downloads for Windows, iOS and Android.
