Australia:

Gravity Media has been appointed by Tourism and Events Northern Territory (NT) to provide broadcast production and technical services for the MXGP of Australia, the championship-deciding finale of the 2026 FIM World Motocross Championship.

Taking place at Hidden Valley Raceway in Darwin from today until 20 September, the event will feature the MXGP, MX2 and FIM Women’s Motocross World Championship classes. Under the agreement, Gravity Media will provide the complete outside broadcast technology for the event, including 14 cameras, EVS capabilities, an outside broadcast unit, satellite and uplink facilities, and event communication solutions.

The production will cover the track and onsite studio hosting, with the international feed distributed to more than 100 territories. Gravity Media is working with Infront to deliver coverage in Australia through Stan Sport and 9Network, alongside international broadcast platforms including CBS Sports Network, Eurosport, Discovery+, Star Sports, JioHotstar and TNT Sports. Coverage will also be available globally through MXGP-TV and FUEL TV.

The appointment follows Gravity Media’s delivery of the event in 2025 and extends its work in live motorsport production. The company also provides media services for events including Formula E, the Australian Open, the Tour de France and the Macau GP.

“We’re pleased to have Gravity Media back on board for the MXGP of Australia,” said Aimee Luxton, executive director of events at Tourism and Events NT. “Their return provides valuable continuity for the event and supports the smooth delivery of our broadcast operations. We appreciate their ongoing partnership as we bring the championship finale back to Darwin.”

Ben Madgwick, sales director at Gravity Media in Australia, added: "The MXGP of Australia is a world-class motorsport event and a rewarding live production bring to life. Gravity Media is excited to collaborate with Tourism and Events NT and Infront to bring the championship finale to audiences nationwide and globally, leveraging our outside broadcast expertise and facilities in Darwin.”
