Sennheiser brings Spectera into ST 2110 workflows
Native SMPTE ST 2110-30 audio integration for Sennheiser's Spectera ecosystem means that the platform can be deployed directly into professional broadcast IP workflows via the new Spectera Base Station ZMAN.The base station incorporates a Merging ZMAN audio network module for AES67 ecosystems, providing integration with ST 2110 infrastructures while retaining the flexibility and control of the Spectera wideband wireless platform.
Spectera support has also been added to SoundBase's brand-neutral RF planning and management application, including integration with its Command functionality. The software's Remote View tool addresses the network demands created when multiple operators need to monitor wireless hardware across a production site. Rather than requiring each operator to run a separate instance of the monitoring software, Remote View acts as a built-in web server to share live hardware telemetry across multiple endpoints. This reduces the number of connections and associated network traffic on the production control network.
